Greatness Is Truly A Choice

If you wish to be great in life, nurture that ‘small thing' you do in a great way. You do not have to be great to get started but you have to start with that little by doing it so well and the positive result will launch you to greatness. Greatness is not sold in any market that I know. Greatness can only be achieved. Greatness is not hidden anywhere but in you. If you aspire to be great in life, let there be a touch of excellence in whatever you do. If you aspire for greatness, do that ordinary thing that probably so many people are doing, but do your own in an extra ordinary way.


Greatness goes with excellence. Change things around you for better. Who said you cannot be the best tailor in the mist of competitors? Do not do your bit; do your best. During festive period, when other tailors are more concerned with making more money without paying attention to making good finished products,
some are often careless with people’s clothes in the bid to meet demands and make more money. Do not follow the trend. Give any cloth that comes your way the best you can. That’s a way to package your product and services so as to make a good name. Always be conscious that a day shall come when your product or services will speak for you. A day shall come when someone will see your product and say, ‘I must see the tailor who made this dress’ and that might be your watershed to fortune and greatness. Then, those who sowed carelessly must have spent their money recklessly, and found their business at the verge of closure because of their nonchalance towards their products. If you are a hairdresser, you should make people’s hair beautiful and stylish. Be unique in whatever you do; even when you sell pepper and tomato. Display your goods in attractive and unique ways. You can reduce the number of tomatoes per unit of your display and add an onion to make it look like a gift. If you're a tailor aspiring to be great, give any cloth that comes your way a touch of excellence. If you're a cleaner aspiring to be great, clean that environment/office/house as if God himself lives in it. If you’re an employee, do your job excellently. There’s always a way to greatness in life and that way is giving whatever you do your best. Print an indelible but positive name on your product or services. When you do an excellent job, you inscribe an indelible positive name in the heart of people and thus, prepare for greatness.

I usually urge my audience that it is not all about quick cash. Whatever you do now may take time to nurture and grow. It may not even yield money as you want at the initial stage, but when excellence is invested on it, it will surely attract money and also launch you to greatness. Greatness attracts wealth, so do not be afraid of poverty when you’re paving your way to greatness. I have never seen a poor great man or woman. Whatever you do, don't wait until it gets to a certain level before you start adding a touch of excellence on it, from the onset, work on it as if it’s the last thing you will do on earth. Add extra in any ordinary thing you do so that it can come out extra ordinary. Greatness is trapped in every human being. All you need to do is to activate it. It takes what you do to become great in life. Your product or services launches you to the land of greatness. Your product or services speaks for you. Do whatever you do with every touch of excellence you've got because you don't know who will behold it. Do whatever you do in life as if it’s the last thing you will do on earth. Do whatever you do in life as if God Himself is waiting to see it. Marry excellence so that you can beget greatness.
