Critics Are Part of The Success Equation

Story has it that there was a family - a man, his wife and his son, going on a journey with their horse. Being that horse is a means of transportation, they decided to take a ride on their horse and after a short distance, a group of people stopped them and started criticizing their action. "How can three of you ride on this young horse? Do you want to kill it? Your action is such a wicked one".
The crowd continued condemning their decision until the man and his wife decided to go by foot while their son ride on the horse, considering the fact that he's still a child. After another short distance, another group of people gathered around them and said, "Is it not a strange world that these days children do not respect and regard their elders? How can this boy comfortably ride on the horse while his parents trek? Son, don't you know that you're still young, strong and ought to go by foot while your parents ride on the horse? Do you want to kill your parents?"
On hearing this, the man and his wife decided to ride on the horse while their young son goes by foot. Not long after they continued on their journey, yet another group of people gathered around them and said, "How can both of you be this wicked? Are you not supposed to make use of your feet while this young boy rides on the horse? Don't you know that you're older and stronger than he is? Do you want to kill him?" Out of frustration, the man, his wife and his son decided to trek along with their horse. Almost immediately they set out to continue on their journey, a crowd surrounded them and this time around, making mockery of them. The crowd of people said, "We have never seen people as foolish as this family. How can they travel by foot when they have a horse with them? What manner of foolishness is this?” On hearing this, the family stood gazing at the crowd with confusion written all over them. What next would they do?
You may ask. Probably they might decide to carry the horse on their head to their destination, I guess. And another group of people will still tell them how foolish they are.
Dear friends, there's nothing anyone can do in this world to satisfy everybody. In fact, watch it when everybody likes and loves your way. In life, there must be people who will like and appreciate your good work. On the other hand, no matter how good and productive you can be, there must be people who will not only criticize you but will also go extra mile in condemning you. The truth is that as long as you're climbing the ladder of success, critics will be climbing with you, not to embrace their own success but to analyze you to the world. But it's left for you to see their action as a building block or as a stumbling block. A smart and wise man uses the stones thrown at him by the enemies to build a castle. Pick those stones they throw at you and build your castle. Don't be discouraged and never crawl back to your shell when people attack your good will, intention, work or even your name. See their attacks, criticisms and even condemnation as an indication that you're making progress to your destination because critics usually pick on busy people. They don't have time for idle minds. Whatever you do in life, always remember that critics are part of the success equation. While you're busy pressing forward to your destination, allow people to also get busy talking about you. As long as you're on the right track, doing the right thing, their opinion does not really matter. Don't be distracted by their idle talks, remain focused and press forward. Do not allow anybody to run you off track. Just as you're in your world, allow them to also remain in their world and at long last, he who will laugh last definitely will laugh best.
