We're Just Here On Transit

Recently, I lost a cousin so dear to me. When the news of her death came, I couldn't  take it. I was just living in denial until it dawned on me that she's gone for ever. Her death reminded me again that we're here on earth just on transit.

Just this morning, I read a unique piece that took me down memory lane from my past to present and imagination took me far away into the future.

Every morning we wake up to thank God for the GIFT of a new day but the big question that's begging for an answer is, what exactly are we doing with that PRICELESS GIFT OF LIFE?  Who exactly is feeling my impact? Who is benefiting from my existence? Does my way of life please and glorify God? If God calls me home today,  would I confidently embark on that journey of no return to answer him?

You're Gifted To Give

When God created man and installed treasures in him, the essence is for the man to discover the treasures and use them to continue creation.

It doesn't really bother me when you make a decision not to enjoy the freedom that comes with self discovery and the provisions attached to the treasures in you. What bothers me so much is the divine dots that you've refused to connect. I'm so worried about it because it's not just about you but its about those destinies attached to you.  
         
You're gifted to give. You're blessed to bless. If at this point in time, nobody is benefiting anything from you,  then there's a serious problem that needs to be sorted out urgently.

Life Is A Book

Life Is A Book.   

Life on earth is just like a book. Every human being is consciously or unconsciously writing a book. The earlier you understand that you started writing a book the very day you came into this world, the better for you. The big question is, what exactly are you doing to make your book inspiring ? Who exactly will read your book when you're gone? Will your book be indelible or will it be washed off by the first rain that comes by, after you're gone? 

We get so excited and happy whenever we write the  rosy pages of our lives. But we get so uncomfortable and unhappy when the time to write the tough pages of our lives comes up. If we can't patiently write the tough pages of our lives, we may not be able to write a good book. Allow God to lead you through every page of your life and you will be sure to give both heaven and earth, a great and memorable piece. 

Always remember that whatever you do on earth matters. Strive tirelessly to give heaven and earth a great and memorable piece!

Most times, life does not turn out as we envision . For some, the course of life unveils better than they could have ever thought. So, their "oh, thank God!" could be heard at the other end of the world . But for some others, life is worse than their worse nightmare that they tag the former "lucky". Is it really luck? Don't be quick to answer.

Beware Of The Delilahs Of This World!

I get so sad whenever I read the story of Samson and Delilah. I get sad not because Samson died but because he was spiritually blind even before he became physically blind.

If Delilah had pestered Samson for money as it is said that women like money and gifts, I would have understood. If Delilah had demanded for Samson’s attention and care, I honestly would have understood. However, I still cannot understand why Samson refused to read the handwriting that was so bold on the wall.

When you have tasted success, you really need to be careful because in as much as climbing to the top is important, staying at the top is more important.

I have come to understand why God speaking through prophet Hosea says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”.

One thing seems to baffle me! Sweetheart, how can you be at the top of your game when you keep saying, “I hate reading. I don’t like seminars. Tell me the shortest way to make it in life”?

Just like food nourishes the body, so also does information nourishes the mind. Information is the food of the mind. Every great mind is an informed mind and every great mind is personally developed. It takes good information to develop a great mind. Do not ever think that great minds are born, they are developed. Benjamin Franklin had only 2 years of formal education before he branched out to become a printing apprentice. He taught himself how to read and read himself to great height of becoming one of the greatest American’s philosophers. He successfully founded a university, built a specialist hospital. He singlehandedly negotiated the French Government’s support for the America Revolution, which enabled America gain independence from Britain.

Quit Listening To Those Lies!

The journey of life can be very tough when you disregard what God says you are and choose to believe what people say about you. This is so because; God the creator is the ONLY one that knows exactly who and what you are.

Be careful who you listen to and also who you believe in. Be careful who you expose your mind to dump his opinions. Be careful and avoid making your mind a dumping ground for negative opinion from negative people. The effect could be deadlier than cancer. Do not ever give up on your dream because someone says you cannot.

Every Challenge Is A Messenger

Many years ago, a young teenage girl had an accident while trying to swim in a pool. Unaware that this was an experience that was going to change the course of her life forever, she ended up spending about three months in the hospital for some series of surgeries. The most painful part of that awful incident was not the accident, but that she left the hospital as a quadriplegic (having lost the use of her two arms and legs), and paralyzed from neck downwards.
