Discovery Is Not Enough……

So many of us have discovered their gifts but putting it to work has been a problem. Whenever a child takes a first step in life, it's always a thing of joy. The reason is that fear is attached to first step. So, for a child to dare and conquer the fear, he or she has done a great thing. Likewise in life endeavours, one of the hardest things to do in life is to take the first step. It may look and sound very simple but it's very difficult to do. Many of us know exactly what God created them to be and do but to start has remained a big problem. There's always a "GOOD" reason not to start. Some will say it's not yet time to start. Time has not “ripped”. Some even usually say that they are waiting for money to start it “big”. They will say, “Ego ji olu. Once money is in abundance, the job is as good as done”. My mentor Ifeanyi AC Eze, once told me that God will always sponsor His vision and the statement changed my mind set about vision and money/provision to start. When you start with the little you have, God will send

helpers of destiny, as long as your vision is from God.

There's always a 'VERY GOOD" reason to procrastinate and wait for a PERFECT time. Today, there are truths you must know about Mr. PROCRASTINATION and Mr. PERFECT time.  Mr. Procrastination is a thief of time and failure's most brilliant and best strategy. Mr. PERFECT time does not exist anywhere in the world. If you continue to wait for the perfect time to do something, you may wait till eternity and continue waiting. What you need to work with is Mr. Best time and the best time is NOW! Discovery is not enough! Knowing your gift/talent/creative ability is not enough! Living your gift/talent/creative ability is the most important. Have you discovered why you're here on earth? If yes, what are you doing about it? What are you still waiting for? Last year, you postponed your starting to this year. Last month your procrastination extended to this month. Last week you postponed it to this week. Just yesterday, you postponed your starting to tomorrow and that tomorrow is here as today, what next? There can never be a perfect time to do anything worth doing. The only time you need to start whatever you want to do in life is NOW and that is the best time.

You have a gift of singing, fine! You're gifted in writing, beautiful! Your gift of craft is next to none, wonderful! You've a creative ability but the big question is, what are you doing with it? Who is feeling the glory of God through you? Why are you keeping the world waiting or don't you know that you're a messenger? God sent you on an errand to touch and impact the world but you keep coming up with excuses. Have you forgotten the parable of the talent so quick? The problem of the servant that buried his talent wasn't discovery but multiplication. He had his talent with him but made a decision to bury it instead of putting it to work. Before you condemn the servant, make sure that you're not doing the same. So many people have unconsciously buried their talents! Where's your talent/gift? Why are you here on earth? Are you living a life of purpose? What is your vision? If the Master calls today, how would your report look like? Will you confidently walk up to him with your multiplied talents or will you reluctantly present your report full of excuses? I've come to announce to you today that discovery is not just enough. Put your talent/gift/creative ability to work so that people can have a feel of it. Let the world feel the glory of God through you. Deliver the message you are sent to deliver. The world is waiting and you can't afford to disappoint God! Tomorrow never ends but today matters the most! Discovery is not enough, step out today and make that first step NOW!
