Parents Please Wake Up And Sit Up!

This is a wake up call to all parents. Wake up and take full responsibility of your PRIMARY assignment on earth. If you succeed in EVERYTHING on earth and fail as a parent, you're indeed a TOTAL failure!
I can agree that raising jet age children has proven to be a big challenge but jet age parents are proving to be bigger challenge.
I can understand that some children are naturally quite difficult to deal with but it's quite worrisome when some children are yearning for parental trainings and their parents are lacking the basic parental training "technical know how", if I may use the words.
Parents, do not ever say "they are still very young. Let me hold on till when they are of age". This is because, any child you fail to train before he celebrates his 10th year birth anniversary is likely to be a bone in your neck and a thorn on your flesh in the nearest future. If you must get it right,
child upbringing and training starts that very moment a baby let out his first cry.
Fathers please don't say "parental training is for mothers". This is because from the phrase "parental training", you will agree with me that the duty calls for parents and not just the mother. Therefore, all hands must be on deck!
Mothers, please avoid easy made life because it's causing more harm than good. If you can cut your vegetable in the market, grind crayfish pepper etc in the market, it then means that if you see fire and pot in the market, you can also prepare your pot of soup in the market . Now tell me, why won't your daughter turn out to be a bad cook tomorrow if she never had the opportunity of watching you do the A-Z of cooking in the kitchen?
Mothers, never you make the mistake of relegating ALL the house chores to the housemaid. This is because, you may end up training other people's children but spoiling your own children, even when you think that it's the other way round. If you wish a happy home to your daughters, SHOW them how to build a home by the way you build your own now. Fathers, show your boys how to be great lovers and husbands by the way you treat their mothers. Remember, the best thing you can do to your child is to LOVE his mother.
Daddies and Mummies, please dress your children well. Dressing them well entails dressing them DECENTLY and SMARTLY! If you're against indecent dressing, start early enough with your children. I need not tell you that it will be easier for a cow to pass through the needle eye than an indecent dressed parent to raise a decent dressed child? Be the change you wish to see!
Sit up to your parental responsibilities. It goes beyond giving birth to a child. It's more than stuffing a child with chocolates and their likes. It's not just about dressing a child "to kill". It's more than filling his room with the best toys money can buy. Wake up to your responsibility of raising godly children. The society is so sick of witnessing broken marriages. The world is sick and tired of domestic abuse. Marriage tribunal is already weighed down by work load. Help this generation and the next by living up to your responsibilities. If you must marry, please get ready to build a home.
You can't afford to fail your offspring. Make a decision today to be a godly parent so as to raise godly children. Remember, you are just a caretaker to that precious seed. You are answerable to their MAKER .
