Feed Your Mind

I have come to understand why God speaking through prophet Hosea says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”.

One thing seems to baffle me! Sweetheart, how can you be at the top of your game when you keep saying, “I hate reading. I don’t like seminars. Tell me the shortest way to make it in life”?

Just like food nourishes the body, so also does information nourishes the mind. Information is the food of the mind. Every great mind is an informed mind and every great mind is personally developed. It takes good information to develop a great mind. Do not ever think that great minds are born, they are developed. Benjamin Franklin had only 2 years of formal education before he branched out to become a printing apprentice. He taught himself how to read and read himself to great height of becoming one of the greatest American’s philosophers. He successfully founded a university, built a specialist hospital. He singlehandedly negotiated the French Government’s support for the America Revolution, which enabled America gain independence from Britain.

How in God’s name can you
say you neither like reading nor attending seminars, when you aspire to succeed in this competitive world of ours? Ever heard “Readers are leaders”? And you do not take it serious? Readers lead the world! You need information to stay at the top and information does not fall from heaven. You’ve got to Read! Buy and read books, materials, journals, anything readable on the subject matter of your ruling domain. You cannot run away from reading. For you to really soar in your ruling domain, you must be a reader as you are doing now because readers are leaders. Surf the net for information. Search for information from anywhere you can. Always remember that Knowledge is power. When you know what you are doing, then you are sure of your expected end. Spend money and time on knowledge. I can spend my last physical cash on life-changing books and seminars because I am sure that they can add priceless value that can fetch me billions in monetary value. Yes! Do not be afraid to spend your time, energy and money on something of inestimable worth. Attend Seminars and network with those in your area of ruling domain. It is exciting to be around people who know their onions. Little wonder Proverbs 13:12 says that “He that walks with the wise shall be wise”.
Please seek for knowledge wherever you can. Whenever there is an opportunity for you to attend seminars, workshops, summits, conference and what have you, do not miss it. By so doing, you learn from people, you hear testimonies on how successful people started and how they attained to their present height. It is also an avenue to meet important people to network.

Seminars, workshops, summits and conferences broaden your knowledge and horizon. Even when you are working hard, you also need to work smart because some people work so hard without working smart that at the end of the day they achieve little or no result. Create a niche for yourself. Because no man is an island, you need to network, interact and share ideas with people.

Knowledge is power and learning is a lifetime adventure. There is no age limit to learning and that is to say that it is a continuous process until the end of time.
When you are informed, you are armed but when you are uninformed, you are likely to be deformed.

Please make a decision today to develop yourself. Nobody can do it for you. For your generation to mind you, you must strive for a great mind and for you to get a great mind, you must remain informed.
