Quit Listening To Those Lies!

The journey of life can be very tough when you disregard what God says you are and choose to believe what people say about you. This is so because; God the creator is the ONLY one that knows exactly who and what you are.

Be careful who you listen to and also who you believe in. Be careful who you expose your mind to dump his opinions. Be careful and avoid making your mind a dumping ground for negative opinion from negative people. The effect could be deadlier than cancer. Do not ever give up on your dream because someone says you cannot.

When Myles Munroe was in school, his teachers who were expected to teach him and bring out the best in him nearly ruined him if not for the kind of mother he had. That is why parents should always pay attention to their children to dictate when they are having issues that need urgent attention. Myles Munroe’s teachers nearly sent him out of the school because they believed he was incapable of learning. They considered him retarded, dealt with his self-esteem to the extent that they told him that he can never learn. Because he was a grade F student, they labeled him half breed monkey. But thank God for his mother who knew the truth and also led him to the truth. Thank God for his mother who taught him how to read Bible where the truth about him was revealed and that was how he metamorphosed from grade F to grade A student. Thank God that Myles Munroe refused to believe in the lies of the world. Today, that school where he was labeled half breed monkey now has his books in its library.

Dear friend, I do not know who is feeding your mind with lies that it’s beginning to affect you. I don’t know the lies your teacher, boss, colleagues, friends, siblings and even your parents are feeding your mind with. The earlier you disregard what people say about you and concentrate on what God says about you, the better for you. How can you believe that fellow who says you are ugly when Bible says you are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of beautiful and handsome God? How can you take it when someone says that you are lazy and incompetent when God Himself says that you can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens you? How can you accept it when someone labels you foolish and unintelligent when you know very well that God your Father is wisdom and knowledge? I do not get it when someone wallows in self-pity when he is a carrier of God’s glory. 

 Rise up this moment and change your belief system. The most important person to believe in life is that person staring at you in front of mirror. Believe in yourself because God lives in you. None of the billions of people on earth right now is a substitute for you. The creator prepared a place among them just for you. I just want to let you know that you are so beautiful! You are so handsome, blessed, fortunate, highly talented, highly favored and placed to be you and you can be WHATEVER you believe you can be. Be yourself because the best you can be is yourself!
